Arborluna
This was my first night-time picture. I had only had my camera for a short while, and was still learning how it works.
I was preparing to take a
picture of Mir-Atlantis (see
Mir-Atlantis), and I wanted to
make sure that I could keep
the shutter open for longer
than a second. I do not know
how long I kept it open, but
this was the lovely result.
About the Title:
The name of our moon is
"Luna",
and "arbor" means
tree. In this photograph, the
light from the moon bends
around the
branches of the
tree
in front of it, making
them seem to merge.
